EGN Poster Designer

The ANU Computer Science Students Association is looking to hire someone to design a poster for Epic Games Night 9. The pay is $200 and the deadline is the 26th of April. Please contact anucssa.egn@anu.edu.au with your previous graphics design experience if you want to find out more and apply.

Ordinary General Meeting alt "Facebook"

The ANU Computer Science Students Association is calling its first Ordinary General Meeting for 2015!
This is an opportunity to discuss what the CSSA has been doing and for members to propose ideas and changes.
We are also looking to discuss changes to Committee and Common Room Subcommittee structures as well as the new Common Room Code of Conduct.

Please submit your topics for discussion and motions to the secretary (benjamin.roberts@anu.edu.au).

Light refreshments will be provided.

Canberra’s graduate job fair

Tertiary to Work is Canberra’s biggest job fair – come along and meet your future employer!

The event is a collaboration of ANU, UC and ACU Careers Services and features over 50 employers recruiting from a wide range of disciplines.

Time: Friday, 13th March 2015, 11:00 - 15:00
Location: National Convention Centre, Constitution Avenue, Canberra

Free Busses: A free shuttle bus will operate on the day of the event, departing Union Court. First bus departs campus at 10.30am, then half hourly until 2.00pm. Students with mobility considerations, please contact the Careers Centre for alternate transport options

Prizes:
Fantastic prizes will be drawn at the event!
Student Passport – an IPAD will be won every hour starting at midday!
Plus additional prizes at the workshop sessions and for completing the student survey.
Entries will be available at the event.

Women’s Legal Centre (ACT) is looking for a web design volunteer!

You will be involved in transferring the site to a Wordpress platform, and designing the new website.

Required skills: Prior experience working transferring websites between IP hosts, registrars, and servers. Experience designing websites. Further web tech skills are a benefit.

Time: We require you to attend our office one day per week for a minimum of four weeks, unless the project is completed earlier. There is possibility of extension at the agreement of both parties.

Benefits to you: You will gain further experience in web site management. You will learn more about the needs of small organisations. You will support a very important community organisation. Due to funding limitations, the role is unpaid.

Benefits to the community: The project is critical to ensuring that many women are able to easily and safely seek legal help. Your work will also enable us to improve community support for the centre, which is critical to its provision of services.
