Common Room Officers
At the end of last semester, we announced the Common Room Subcommittee, which will help in keeping the N102 Common Room open.
We received lots of excellent applications - thank you to everyone who applied!
The 2014 Common Room Officers are:
- Ben Roberts
- Jan Leike
- Stephen Watson
- Chu Bing
- Daniel Filan
- Chanakya Goli
Our intention is to move towards electing the Common Room Officers at
the Annual General Meeting - we’ll have more information on that soon.
Resignation of Treasurer
Our Treasurer, Chanakya Goli, resigned from the committee on 10 July due to personal reasons. Chan was CSSA Social Officer in 2012-13 and was elected Treasurer at the AGM last year. Chan was also a Convenor of CompCon 2013. We thank Chan for his contribution to the CSSA - you’ll still see him around as he’s now a Common Room Officer!
As the next AGM will be held shortly, there will not be a by-election to fill the position. The committee will make arrangements for an interim Treasurer to be appointed shortly.
