The theme for the event is ‘Disguise’. Make something as crazy or unusual as you like; the design is up to you! We’ll begin at 11:30am on Saturday the 5th with talks by local professional game developers, and then the rest of the day will free for you to work on your projects. A playtesting and presentation session will be held after the lecture break.

Cyber Security Challenge Australia (CySCA) 2014 is the next in the series of national cyber security competitions for university/TAFE undergraduates across Australia — following the success of the CySCA 2013 and the Cyber Defence University Challenge.
It involves 24 hours of analysing code and networks in close competition from other universities. The ANU teams in 2013 came 5th, 7th and 15th out of 43 teams nationwide - you can see the wrap-up here.
Registrations are to be organised, but must be as a team through the CSSA or CECS. Registrations close on April 1st, 2014. Each university will have 4 teams, up to 60 teams nationwide.
